1. I was raised by drug addicts. My mother and step-father are five years clean, my big brother is about a year or so clean (and in prison) and my dad is in prison and probably not clean. I have seen them smoke crack. I have seen people OD in front of me (at fourteen nonetheless). I have seen my big brother go through heroin withdrawls. I have had lightbulbs stolen by tweakers who then smoked them.

There is absolutely nothing you can ever say that will make me think doing crack, heroin, meth, X, coke, glass or whatever is anything less than fucking horrible. I repeat: I do not care if I offend you. SIXTEEN YEARS of my life was spent with drug addicts.

2. Re: Drinking. As those of you at WinCon know, I don't generally mind other people drinking. I just don't feel like going out and being the only sober person there. Really, the biggest thing there is just that drunk people? Are usually nowhere near as amusing to sober people as they think they are. And, relating to part the first up there, I have already spent enough of my life nodding along to people who make no fucking sense at all.

It's weird, cause I like drunk posts, and drunks at WinCon kinda rock (they talk about COCK and PORN and WINCEST and J2), but I cannot stand being around people who are drunk, like, because it's Friday.

3. If you don't know the names of a large chunk of the people you've slept with you're slutting around. If you've ever had a Maury Povich kind of "I don't know who my Baby Daddy is because I've slept with half the town and they were all right around the same time" moment you're slutting around.

Slutting around is not just having a lot of sex. If you're an irresponsible idiot about it (USE CONDOMS, PEOPLE. RL IS NOT FIC.) then... Well. You could totally be slutting around. You could also just be a great big idiot.

I can't stand most of the people I work with already, and I technically am not even out of training until Friday.

I just have no respect at all for people who do drugs. I mean, pot is one thing, I don't really like it but the worst thing you'll do on it is hammer your thumb trying to make a twelve-foot bong or sit all day and do nothing, but everything else is just... The dumb bitch who sits next to me today was talking with some of the other guys about how she was gonna get an eight-ball tonight. As if that's not bad enough she told me a few days ago about how her mom has been sober for seven years.

People really fucking disgust me.

It would be nice to have some friends outside of the internet—people to see more than once a year. But I'm not about to pretend I like drinking or doing drugs or going out dancing or slutting around. There WAS a girl I saw in the net cafe the other day, though. Apparently she had MSN, AIM and Yahoo, and knew Firefox (but didn't know Meebo). My luck I'll ask if she has an LJ and then she'll never speak to me again after seeing mine.

I am now riding the bus home from school today. Again. Why? Because my mother is a whore and when the download box said 03:57 remain Mom called and told me CJ was there to pick me up. Then when it said 01:04 remain Mom calls again and asks why I'm not outside, "You have to understand, when he gets off work he just wants to go home. You need to get outside or call him and tell him you're taking the bus."

Learn to be a parent you self-centered bitch. I heard the story about your Dad waking up in the middle of the fucking night when you were 25 and driving through Illinois into Wisconsin to bail you out of jail and not even complaining. I'm 20 and trying to save something for a school paper that's due tomorrow and you cant wait four fucking minutes. You can go right to hell.

ENG102 is the most boring class ever. And I had back-to-back classes last semester (TR classes too so they were from 10-1245) with the AJS deparments Ben Stein.

ENG102 is also an eight week course from 1300-1540 TR.

We're learning mostly about researching things for research papers. I know about the free web V. the paid web and about library databases and why you should avoid using Google and Wikipedia for anything that really matters. I sit in class most of the time trying not to fall asleep.

Also? I picked it because it said it was a class where we were gonna do our papers on films.

Nope. We're doing our papers on directors. I may have to choose Kevin Smith because aside from the Big Ones (Spielberg and such) he and Peter Jackson are about all I know.

And look, the Catalina Room has opened up for class early. Yay.

In other news Halloween might be canceled this year, details at a later time (Maybe).

WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH THE PBFE?

It was supposed to be done a while ago and this is bull. According to the last post at pbficexchange there were still fics waiting to be posted and there has been no word of anything since.

This was on June 20th, almost a month ago. She also hasn't updated her personal journal in thirteen weeks so that'll probably be no help at all with contacting her.

I'm really not trying to come off as a bitch because for all I know (God forbid) something happened to almostforgiven. But if it didn't? If she's fine and everyone is fine and she just got tired of LJ or PB or the PBFE or something? Then I am pissed.

You know what I want? For everyone to step up to the comm and tell what they wrote. And those people who haven't had their stories put up yet? Maybe post them on your own? I honestly feel that if we don't finish this ourselves it just ain't gonna get done.

Seriously man, what's the consensus here? Do we want to try and finish this on our own or does nobody care anymore?

I don't really feel bad or anything, this just took a different turn once I started writing it. I guess I was a bit more frustrated than I thought I was.
