cherie_morte is an evil, evil human being, because she wrote this amazing fic called Oh, My Queen! and then had the fucking audacity to end it at only 32k. But it's okay! I'm going to bribe her to write more and more and more with all the art she never wanted. She will eventually start writing timestamps just to make me stop fucking drawing shit.

It's an amazing fic, and it's non-AU J2 future-fic, and I really hope you do not let that scare you away, because I need everybody on the internet to read it. cherie_morte is so awesome for letting me make art for her fic, and a way with words that genuinely makes me wonder why I even bother to attempt to write things.

I usually save thank you posts for my fics, but there is a list of people without whom this art would be a red-hot mess of fail. ordinaryink is the best helper monkey on the planet, especially if you ever need her to pose for anything, even a 6'4" man. Especially a 6'4" man. sistabro, unavoidedcrisis, road_rhythm, and wutendeskind have all been completely invaluable art betas as well, and are the reason this is not a mess of muddled fail.

A winter wedding, huh? I don't reallt have much to say about Jared and Gen's engagement other than that I really hope he quietly dated a few people in between Sandy and her, because otherwise it could be bad and, you know, I don't want Jared to become a jaded cynic. That's Jensen's part.

In other news, I'm going back to school. Most of you weren't here when I was going, but I got most of the way through two two degrees (administration of justice and evidence technology) before three years of sixteen-credit semesters burned me the fuck out.

The plan is to go online with the University of Phoenix. Two eight-week classes at a time instead of four/five sixteen-week classes with random weekend seminars thrown in. Between that, doing work full-time, and Big Bang I see my brain fritzing out sometimes about mid-March.

Speaking of Big Bang, I kinda think I know what I want to write, but my main issue is whether I can make myself wade through the 800 page doc of notes I have on it from way back. And, sadly, I am not exagerating. The doc is really 800 pages.

Also, I've been talking to my brother's sister lately and she seems really cool, and nice, and sweet. Not at all as intimidating as she sounds in theory. We're planning on meeting up again for the first time since we were about six or so either this weekend or next weekend. Here's to hoping I don't make a gigantic ass out of myself!

I'm hoping for the money situation to improve at home soon, Yussie's got a second interview tomorrow morning to be a department head at Walmart, I will have my W2s by the end of the month so I can file my taxes, and I'm approved for 12.5k in financial aid, since I can count my entire family as dependants now.

I need to make a list of things that I need to get (a new laptop, my hair dyed, etc) and then try to... IDK, do something. I can't even budget because I don't have anything to save, because the economy is hell-bent on making me cry.

I think maybe the entire reason all this went to crap is because I was making plans to go to the LA Con, and, like, have someone actually holding tickets for me and now I am almost certain I won't be able to go (but am stubbornly holding on to the last possible second just in case).

And I am now addicted to Farmville on Facebook, and I don't really know how it happened.

...This post got way longer than I thought it would. I blame the fact that no one has posted since I woke up really and the computers here in the net cafe don't have flash so I can't waste time on Facebook games.

TWO WEEKS UNTIL NEW SHOW, YOU GUYS! TWO WEEKS!

Anyone know what the comm is for the LA CreationCon? I really, really want to go to at least one big con like that and LA is closest to me, so I'm aiming for that one. My big hope is, like, to find someone who bought a gold pass and won't be able to go because, really, if I'm going to be using up the only free money I have for a year on something I want the WORKS.

Also, I feel okay thinking about this because right now my idea of splurging is possibly replacing my two-year-old glasses since I'm having issues seeing out of them again.

I mean, really, I don't really do things for me right now except that I spend fifty bucks to get my hair dyed every two or three months and once a year I go to wincon. So if I want to try to spend a ridiculous amount of money to go somewhere and listen to people from TV talk in person and get pictures with them I should be able to.

...Okay, so looking at that maybe I am still trying to justify thinking about it a tiny bit.

I'm kinda worried though because, like, LA is my highly preferred option because it's $140 to fly there and back versus $340 for NJ and $560 for Vancouver. Also, next year Chicago will be the week after WinCon, so that will never happen, because I would either need to fly to and from twice in two weeks or find a way to get ten days off work and still keep my job, which just would not happen.

AUGH, HMOG. I didn't realize I was this Dean in my head. What the fuck ever, ignore everything but the very top part of this post.

But, also, kinda AW because I'm totally afraid of Hollywood weddings, people will date for YEARS in Hollywood and then break up within months of engagement or weddings.

SO. Way back when Michael Phelps took over my FList I did part of an Olympic!J2 AU. But then it came out in words and it was more Jared/Jensen/Tom/Mike in my head and IDK. Then another person I used to be friends with was gonna write one so I stopped and, yeah. I don't utterly hate it, but there's a 99% chance it will never go further than this.
