YUSSIE JUST SIGNED UP FOR THE MARINES.

This isn't a stupid thing like with Stephie, he's been wanting to be a Marine since he was about fifteen--so five years or so now.

Did you know the Marines only take one GED per year? Yeah, that's what the recruiter said. So we just went and signed Yussie up for 15 credit hours at Phoenix College, because that's what you need to sign up if you only have a GED, and he starts on Monday.

He's taking Elementary Japanese (because foreign languages look good and he already knows some), Intro to Criminal Justice, and Ethics (because it's good for if he wants to become an MP and I know they're easy classes for him), a Computer class (because he's already A+ certified so it's like underwater basket weaving for him), and an open gym for weight lifting (for obvious reasons).

He's gonna be going to class Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 0900-1540, and then likely training with the Marines Tuesday and Thursday starting 0800 until whenever they decide to let him go, and then probably Day Labor on Saturdays, for $50 a day.

The day after his classes finish he's expecting to be shipped out to Basic for six months.

If he gets shipped to Cheyenne Mountain or Antarctica I'm shooting him in the foot myself before I let him go.

Oh, also? Yussie and Stephie are officially engaged. And she's still going USAF.

Mom seems to be trying to Yussie into them getting married ASAP. Yussie does not seem V receptive to Mom's original plan for Stephie and him to elope tomorrow when she comes over.

P.S. He has to lose 47 pounds between now and when he leaves for boot camp, and when he walked into the office the recruiter called him, "Moose," and said he was a "BIG boy." 6'2", 270 on the dot and wide as a linebacker? He's fucking MADE to be a Marine, man.

Writing was stalled for a little bit earlier when Yussie fried some Tobasco sauce earlier and tear gassed the whole place.

That's right, I once again have a working Photoshop! For those of you not in the know my PS has been hating on me for a LONG time now. Sometimes it would work and sometimes I would hit Save and the entire thing would seize up and kill/corrupt/not save anything I had open in it at the time. But thanks to the lovely and wonderful Sara (waterofthemoon) I will now be able to actually make all those shiny graphics I owe so many of you.

Wanna know why my brother is so much cooler than yours? Because he's straight, spends all day Geeking out by playing Diablo II and writing bots for it with his friends and yet he wants to see the new Hairspray movie so bad words don't do it justice.

This is the same dude who has actually read his girlfriend slash over the phone one night because her internet died in the middle of a fic. It was simultaneously the most disturbing and most adorable thing ever.

I think I'm gonna have to weed through my icons again soon. I have so many ones that I love like pie but rarely ever use. :(

Okay, so I just got done coding the Newsletter, right? And I just found stealth__grrl's icons. Dude, they are amazing. Just look. Y'all need to go friend her and nab a bunch of them like, right now.

I spent a big fucking chunk of today working on The Laundry List. Phase two is done. Tomorrow I get to go and compare my notes with the previously seen clothing and then try and code this fucking monster. I need to figure out what I'm going to meta at the end of it. Last season was them doing their laundry so I've already got that covered. I think I already have metas on Dean dressing like John and Sam layering up so doing those again would just be very redundant. Anyone have any ideas?

Also? I'm kinda really bored with my layout now. I love my headers; it's just everything else that's blah. causette, remind me to poke you when you come online.

I also have this icky, icky feeling that I'm gonna end up not being able to go to WinCon. Chelsea's not going but she's still paying my con fee, so that's cool. However I have this huge feeling that either I'm gonna get turned down for financial aid (Because Mom and CJ, who my financial aid go off of, make a combined total of a lot of money) or I'm gonna get it but we're gonna need it for bills in August/September/October or something.

Ma told me CJ said he was gonna take the puppy to the pound today, because he's still not trained.

I told her that if she tries that Yuss will take the dog, leave, and never speak to her again.

We don't have hardly anything, we never have really.

That dog is just about the only thing Joseph cares about in this whole world and Mom is too stupid to see that.

Yuss treats Freckles like people treat their children. He shares his food with him and Freckles sleeps on the bed with him.

Can I just get a fucking do-over button on today? Please?

Saw Accepted, ate food, stayed the night, watched some SPN eps.

Freckles stayed the night too and the poor puppy looks like a bad prize fighter, first he got punched in the face by Andy and then he got a black eye.

Andy was trying to punch Yussie and he didn't see Freckles laying on his knee. Poor puppy yelped and cried and Andy and Joe both apologized to him.

Then, this morning, we brought him back the bone from a T-Bone steak and the mutt-puppy fell on it and got himself right around his left eye.

Freckles now has a swollen lump on his snout and a swollen and red eye.

He's definetly a part of this family.

Went out to eat with Daddy and his girlfriend Kim last night.

Much fun, much.We went out for Chinese food and then stopped for shakes at Sonic.

Of course I've just realized that mine is still sitting in the kitchen from when we came home last night but... Eh.

Going out with Daddy and Kim again today, we're gonna pick up Andy and go to the movies and out to eat and stuff.

Before we went for food last night Dad came in and we showed him pictures from when me and Yuss went to Chicago and saw Grandma Ann and Uncle Al and Aunt Vanessa and everyone. We showed him pictures of our friends and his friend Taz's kid (Who we went to school with and were friends with before we realized we knew his Mom) and I showed him a couple of pictures from my Graduation. I wish he or Mom could've been there.

It'sd okay though, Grandma was there and Addie was there and Yussie was there afterwards (I don't mind him not wanting to go, it's boring as fuck and he was there after for the cake fight) so it was all groovy.

Posted Mascots last night, people seemed to like it. That makes me happy. I'd spent so much time writing it that it was funny to me anymore (Because reowrding the same jokes nine times makes it less of a joke and more of a job) and I wasn't sure if it was gonna bomb-out or something.

Which reminds me. My little brother is apparently even more Dean than I knew. I have two more prompts for spn_flashback, one involving Dean getting all these record-setting numbers of detention and another where he's The coolest kid in school, everyone has all these stories about things he's done and shit.

At Job Corps? Joe holds the records for most write-ups. It was more than two hundred. He was on Dorm Restriction the entire time there and never did it, kept leaving for the weekend and going wherever, he was on room restriction for most of it too and was only in his room when he slept, he cursed and put his feet on the tables and did whatever the hell he wanted. They didn't kick him out because they were all minor infractions and nothing big enough to justify Termination from Job Corps. He ran that place.

And? Both at Job Corps and West Valley (Pappas High) he was The Cool Kid. West Valley was very segregated, the black kids sat over there and didn't associcate with anyone else unless they were in the same Group Home, the Mexicans sat over there and didn't associcate with anyone else unless they were in the same Group Home, same with the white kids. Joseph? Could freely talk to anyone and sit wherever the fuck he wanted, everyone thought he was awesome and no one disliked him at all. This is a kid who had me paint his nails pink (His favorite color) the night before school once and had every guy there in pink nails the day after.

Heh. I'm watching Meet the Press (I can't believe I just admitted that) and Rick Santorum is on. I know nothing about him except that trollprincess doesn't like him. Not that I'm watching him and hearing him speak and all that shit? He seems like a dick and just said that Bob Casey's father would be distressed about his Plan B thoughts if he were alive today. Dude. What the fuck is wrong with you, you tool? Common fucking decency dude, you don't say anything about someone's dead parent you fucking shit-head.
