So. Instead of working on my Big Bang like I really need to be (it is the fic that will not DIE) I accidentally started writing a Swan Song coda in a somewhat experimental style that will either be really neat or completely fucking lame.

Also, I have an 11 hour shift today and Ma forgot and woke me up a half of an hour EARLY.

I've already downed an entire venti Java Chip and not my stomach aches so I can't stomach down the second corn dog that is my breakfast.

Also, I will literally have to give over ever cent that doesn't have to stay in my account for my payday loan tomorrow (a hundred and forty fucking dollars, Obama, I am not impressed, it was only $70 every two weeks when I didn't have to go online). I have paid more in interest than I even fucking borrowed, and I will never see any of that money back because Ma and CJ are just stubborn and annoying.

Me and Yussie now routinely bond over how they keep telling us that if we don't like it there we can leave, they don't need our help, and how they are clearly so very wrong about that because they need every last penny we have from our checks every week and still can't pay all the bills off.

...That turned ranty. I swear, it was just gonna be a little bitching about Coda instead of Big Bang.

Why isn't "helpless" a mood on LJ?

My brother got robbed last night at work.

He works graveyard shift in a Circle K, replacing a guy who quit after they got robbed. Ma's pretty sure it was the same two guys who robbed the last one. He had a SHOTGUN shoved in his face and they even took the money out of his wallet ($250 that was for moving in to his new apartment).

Graveyard isn't usually supposed to have more than $45 in the register at any given time, the rest goes into a time-lock safe, but Yussie's still new enough that he doesn't have a key for it, so his whole pull was in there. After they grabbed that they asked if he had any money and he said no and, holy shit, dude, then they told him to give them his wallet and I am seriously so happy that they didn't fucking shoot him when they found the money in it. And, hey, plus side, they threw the wallet back after so he doesn't have to get everything replaced.

Also, I fucking LOVE Circle K now, because apparently they have a very, VERY strict set of rules about what to do during and after a robbery, and their security got there before the cops, even.

Mom picked me up from work today, brought me my EW magazine, I tell her about the four-page spread we have and how I wanna read but it's spoiler.

I go into the place to put money down on my brace and leave her in the car with my EW.

I come out and she says, AND I QUOTE, "THEY MENTIONED YOU GUYS IN HERE, THEY CALLED YOU WINCESTERS."

And then I FLAILED and said I totally wasn't one, but I knew some. I'm fairly sure, judging from the pretty gay Monaboyd and Orlijah pics still stuck on her wall that I never got around to taking down, and this art by joosetta taped to my wall next to all the other J2 pics and SPN posters, that she knows I was lying though by teeth.

This isn't a BAD thing, per se. Like I've said before, it's not that Mom will freak out, it's that she's going to make fun of me forever now. Ma and CJ kinda love embarrassing me.

I'm pinch-hitting for apocalyptothon and I fucking LOVE the prompt I chose. Love it, love it, LOVE IT.

I think I've accidentally become a gay man. In the last two days I've watched mini-marathons of ANTM (Cycle 3), this season's Project Runway, this season's Shear Genius, and I'm right now watching The Cho Show. Oh, and now Vivica A. Fox's new show, Glam God is on. Yeah, totally have become a gay dude, I guess.

In my short-term To Do List I have:

This was Yussie about a yearish ago, last Halloween. I have no recent pics but his hair was to his mid-back until a few days ago. This is Stephie holding his ponytail against my 24x30 whiteboard for a size ref. This is Yussie two or three days ago, right after getting it buzzed.

Took Yussie to see The Dark Knight last Saturday. One month in the theaters and it was fucking awesome. People were still yelling and clapping an cheering and shrieking at all the same scenes as they were on opening night. There were new trailers attached, though. I think ti says something about me that the fact that Gordon is in Righteous Kill is just as big a draw for me as the fact that it's got De Niro and Pacino, too.

For the three people who haven't already seen it, S3 Gag Reel. I think I can safely say without spoiling that those boys are so magnificently in love with each other. And, also, that looks like one hell of a fun set.

Blayne, from Project Runway? Is a giant retard and I want to hit him with a bat. Just because you're a huge, annoying queen with an annoying catchphrase (-licious) does not magically give you Christian's talent.

One day I'm going to write some kind of fic, likely Wincest, and name it, "Illuminates the 'No's on Their Vacancy Signs."

As much as I love Jokerized!Jess, I think it's almost time for me to get a new default icon. I'm kinda leaning towards this one. Only partially because the keyword for it is "Huggy!leash."

YUSSIE JUST SIGNED UP FOR THE MARINES.

This isn't a stupid thing like with Stephie, he's been wanting to be a Marine since he was about fifteen--so five years or so now.

Did you know the Marines only take one GED per year? Yeah, that's what the recruiter said. So we just went and signed Yussie up for 15 credit hours at Phoenix College, because that's what you need to sign up if you only have a GED, and he starts on Monday.

He's taking Elementary Japanese (because foreign languages look good and he already knows some), Intro to Criminal Justice, and Ethics (because it's good for if he wants to become an MP and I know they're easy classes for him), a Computer class (because he's already A+ certified so it's like underwater basket weaving for him), and an open gym for weight lifting (for obvious reasons).

He's gonna be going to class Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 0900-1540, and then likely training with the Marines Tuesday and Thursday starting 0800 until whenever they decide to let him go, and then probably Day Labor on Saturdays, for $50 a day.

The day after his classes finish he's expecting to be shipped out to Basic for six months.

HOLY SHIT, YOU GUYS. MY BROTHER IS GONNA BE A MARINE.

If he gets shipped to Cheyenne Mountain or Antarctica I'm shooting him in the foot myself before I let him go.

Oh, also? Yussie and Stephie are officially engaged. And she's still going USAF.

Mom seems to be trying to Yussie into them getting married ASAP. Yussie does not seem V receptive to Mom's original plan for Stephie and him to elope tomorrow when she comes over.

P.S. He has to lose 47 pounds between now and when he leaves for boot camp, and when he walked into the office the recruiter called him, "Moose," and said he was a "BIG boy." 6'2", 270 on the dot and wide as a linebacker? He's fucking MADE to be a Marine, man.

No SPN for me right now. I got interrupted by CJ and my OCD won't let me watch the rest with the missing chunks. So I get to wait for the torrent to go up.

Also Big Bang is due in three and a half hours, I only have one hour of awake left (probably) and NO SUMMARY. The rest of it is ready, I just can't think of a fucking summary for this shit nd it's pissing me off.

Also? Yay and boo: No work tomorrow for me. CJ's truck has a flat so Ma has to take him to work and then go herself, and I'd lose money by taking a cab so I had to call in.
