BOO LEG

Home from work early because leg is BAD, BAD, BAD. Have an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon in about an hour and a half because my entire left leg is twice the size of my right one, and I actually cried getting in the car this morning because it hurt so bad.

Home from work early because leg is BAD, BAD, BAD. Have an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon in about an hour and a half because my entire left leg is twice the size of my right one, and I actually cried getting in the car this morning because it hurt so bad.

I CAN BEND MY KNEE

They pulled out 60ccs of fluid from my knee. That is 2.25 OUNCES.

I CAN FEEL MY KNEECAP. I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FEEL MY KNEECAP IN WEEKS.

Also, my knee hurts like a motherfucker. That was a REALLY long needle that got jabbed into it. I have work off tomorrow and Wednesday because of it, with the option for more if my knee is still sore.

The doc says he doesn't think it's my ACL at all, but that it's my JRA acting up again. He's testing the fluid they drained for infection (just to be safe, but he thinks it's not infected) and then he's gonna get me a rheumatologist.
