I didn't really want to say much before stop_plagiarism finished their report (hoping that they would have a list of all the stories/authors who were plagiarized; considering how fast the person deleted the evidence/her journal).

I still don't get how anybody could plagiarize certain stories. I mean, how would they even make sense in another fandom?

Kaoru's constant need for approval, his quirks that no one understood, soon began to take it's toll on Die's family (but never on him), it was always the same but with variations on a theme "Kaoru Niikura was too much hard work". And so when Die's own parents became casualties in a tragic car accident, despite the sick feeling of hurt, Die did the only thing he could do. He applied to be Kaoru's guardian. Because Kaoru still clung to Die like a life preserver and Die couldn't leave him. He didn't even want to.

I'm going to be posting ALL of my old Die/Kaoru fanfics here tonight,
so I apologize in advance for the massive spam that will surely ensue on your friends-page.

I'm not going to post the Live It Out series yet though...because there's fricking 13 chapters so far and I've been thinking about cramming everything into 1 chapter for everyone's sanity or I could just post all the chapters in one go? thoughts about this would be great since it doesn't really make any difference for me either way.

I'm one of the mods for snslashnotebook, right, and once someone posted a plagairized fic on there. The kicker? It was one of the other mod's fics. [headdesk] I mean, duh, people.

THe kicker of the kicker to that is, I was going through all the posts to tag everything, and a few poss before mine on the same day was one from the plagerist asking a question about the very dialog I based my fic on.

That was the one where she didn't even bother to change all of the character names, right? That was really the best part of the whole thing.

Especially since the two characters in her fandom aren't even related. The people over there must have thought that she has a major incest kink if she keeps making the charactes brothers or cousins when they aren't in canon.

No way! Aww, and here I was feeling left out of all the plagiarism :p I'm reading one of my kid!fic drabbles that she renamed "Toy Soldiers" - didn't even recognize it at first until I thought "huh, that sounds like something I'd write... oh, hey!" Damn, seems like she really raided the fandom. It always strikes me as odd when fics are plagiarized and changed for a fandom so completely different. Wonder what made her take PB stories (and why like, every M/L fic in the fandom?).

And randomly, something I find really strange? She stole my story "Notes" and changed the name to the title from one of my other stories, "More Than It Seems". How totally odd.

How did you find this out? Did you catch them, or did someone else point it out? I'm always curious how this stuff is caught, especially when the fandoms are so different from each other.

I didn't.

Apparently somebody found out that project_avoid who posted as pbslash was a plagiarist and confronted her. So she deleted the project_avoid journal. People on pbslash didn't know and asked what happened to her. Some anon told callmetofu that project_avoid was a plagiarist and that she had ripped off one of callme's stories as bluesemicolon.

callme made a post about it in her journal. I clicked on the the bluesemicolon name and saw that I knew pretty much all the stories. So I notified stop_plagiarism again.

I know, I mean how good can you feel from getting fake praise?

She/He even used the same TITLE. *thwap* No-good-stealing-dumbass!

Have you read through her whole repertoire? I think she took one or two of yours as well. Seems like like lifted something from just about every M/L author in the fandom *boggles*

Gah! I missed the theft of "Impaired Judgment," although I found "Echoes Of Something Lost."

The "Awakening" one isn't mine-- domfangirl/american_outlaw has a series with the same title, so it's probably hers.

There's a ton of really random stuff, and it seems like her one long series is a bunch of various stolen works put together. Some also have had the names changed.

(I have to admit that, oddly enough, I was only really upset when I thought that she'd actually stolen my fic "More Than It Seems," until I saw that she only used the title for another work of mine - I'd be much more upset about this if she took something of mine that I really care about (not that I don't care about the ones she did plagiarize, just not nearly as much as some of my others). As if is, I'm still just mostly amused).

I think I ran across Twist/Stung as well.

I saw them listed as a journal entry for her deleted journal (I used the ljseek.com tool), but the entry was deleted along with her journal.

And the notes about "Coming up with these other pieces while she waited for the muse to cooperate." I.e., the ripped-off author to post another chapter. :0 *sporks her*

Kinda reminds me when mylifewithin complained and ranted in her journal that I gave her a less than glowing review to pussyfic. (actually I was nice. My review was more like "Are you sure this wasn't orignally a hetfic?")
