Okay. I'm about to head home so I'm doing this before I leave.

I'm going to be reccing PB fics for crack_van eventually as you all may know.

I cannot be at all possible corners of the fandom and so this is where you come in. Find me fics you love, fics that stay with you, ones that won't leave your mind. Find them and link me to them.

OCD Threads are up and icon-coated for your reccing pleasure, rec in the appropriate places please. Pairing and rating are groovy and remember that this doesn't just cover all of LJ, it's anywhere you find the fic.

Remember, it is usually bad taste to rec your own fic, that's what friends are for! Fuck it, who cares about "usually" anyway? There's a spot over here for you to Self-Pimp, come on, do it.

slashasylum is like my authority for Michael/Sucre. I like Elictricity, the porn one.

There are some borderlines.

Like 4 O'Clock is technically just Abruzzi/T-Bag arguing but it's full of UST.

Trace the Moment has Haywire attracking Michael to see his tattoos (he is stopped before anything can happen), but I still got the vibe of an almost rape from it.

I really like Insults Under The Table and Men of Action (which a lot of people hate, but I think it's hot). [both Michael/T-Bag btw]

Mmmm, yeah, 2 Fugitives and all its sequels (especially the missing scene from LJ's POV) for T-Bag/LJ.

Ourtrage and Prison Soap simply because it's Michael/BELLICK!!!! (though it would probably be a bad rec since outsiders probably wouldn't get the awesome ludicrousness of the pairing)

Music By Memory by slashasylum. Michael/Sucre. I honestly don't know why this pairing isn't written more often –– it's so obvious. =P

But my absolute favorite has got to be Beneath the Skin by princessdoe. (omg, where is she? She's disappeared.) T-Bag/Michael, with such glorious imagery, the kind that makes your toes curl.

alazysod's Twinge was the first M/L fic I read, before I was at all interested in the incest fic and still majorly squicked out by it, and loved it then and still love it rediculously now (but like a jerk, I still haven't left a review for it). I love Michael slowly realizing his attraction to Lincoln and considering what this means in terms of both his sexuality and how he really feels about his brother. And then after he tells Linc and Linc rejects him, how they try to work it out - felt very real and a little painful and just overall really well done.

The Oriental + Part II for Sara/Abruzzi (fantasy sequence).

Kill The Hope for Linc/Sara.

The Michael/Sara I recced you over at little details (but dude, you have to find a way to rec just that chapter, because I don't like the way the fic starts out and especially not the way it continues [it's my squick about otherwise kick ass characters crying in places where I think it's lame]).

I like aspensnow's way of writing Linc/Veronica. I also remember this Linc/Veronica but I can't remember if it was one of those cases where I went "Hey, this is surprisingly decent!" or it is actually outstanding.

I adore Overwhelmed by callmetofu. Apparently it was supposed to be slashy/sexual but it didn't take, so as a gen piece I think it's great. Love the details of Michael kind of being assaulted by the low latent inhibition + the onset of puberty, and how being near Linc helps him relax. Love it.

Still love the imagery and symbolsim of slashasylum's Chess.

And, um, your's is still one of my most favorites. *ass-kissing* Can you self rec? 'Cause dude, seriously. I love that one.

Those were the first ones that came to mind, am going back to try and remember some older ones that I liked.

Yes Miranda (where T-Bag hooks up with an incestuous brother/sister wanna be serial killer couple) and Don't Leave Me, Don't Let Go (where T-Bag has consensual sex with a chick and afterwards kills her). Both are by miss_mandy

There was one where T-Bag has a girlfriend who visits him after he is enjailed and he lies to her and tries to convince her that he didn't do it, but I completely forgot who wrote it. It was more like the beginning of a story anyway.

Dude, if you ever have the opportunity you have to watch some of
Jenncho's vids. They are so good. If I had to pick a favorite, I'd probably say Crawling - features lots of characters, the cuts flow really well with the rythm of the music and there's a darkness to it that fits well with the song. To quote someone from
TWoP: OK, seriously? I've watched the "Crawling" video who knows how many times now and it's moved me more than any episode of PB since "Riots, Drills, and the Devil Part 2." Holy CRAP. If I could chain this girl to her computer and pay her $1 million a year to make PB videos for the rest of her life, I would. Heh. That's a good rec right there. She's done several good ones, but there's a T-Bag one (Shoop) that I love as well.

I don't know that any of them are actually usable, but here's some uber AU -

The Vampire Chronicles! (That's just my spur-of-the-moment name for them all, but they aren't actually related.)

It all started when smidgy06 wrote Afraid of the Dark (R) and Turned (14). Both contain Vamp!Michael/Vamp!Lincoln and are slashy, especially Turned. Note: Afraid of the Dark could technically be a crossover as well, because it features Angelus from BtVS.

After reading these, two fics were spawned, one by me and the other by miss_mandy. Mine was mostly a joke after thelana mentioned wanting to see a Sucre/Sara story (she didn't mean a vampire one). It is untitled and is found only in a comment to thelana's thread. Um, I guess it's PG-13. Non-graphic violence and, oh yeah, character death.
miss_mandy wrote First Drink (PG-13), which contains T-Bag/Michael/LJ. It's another slashy one. Fun stuff! :)
