See, I'm usually not all that bad with stills of dead people, the bodies at Auschiwitz and autopsy photos and stuff like that. It's... when it's moving images and you're actually watching them die... Buh.
Yeah, that's... yeah, awful. I don't know if I'd be able to watch that. I really have a thing about death, watching people die (as I'm sure many people do), even if it's a fictional movie and I know it's not real. Like the PB ep where LJ finds his mom dead? Really disturbed me. My concentration in college was Holocaust and Genocide Studies, so I've watched and read tons on genocidal stuff and I'm mostly okay with it all, but sometimes I'd watch something that would randomly really upset me. Watched a TERRIBLE made-for-tv movie in a class once about a concentration camp starring David Arquette of all people, but there was a scene during which a group of people is trapped in a gas chamber and it's like 5 minutes of them screaming and dying and I had to leave the room 'cause I couldn't watch it anymore.
When I was in my old dorms I watched some guy outside my window get his head blown off.
That's also pretty awful. And scary. When I was younger I lived in a pretty badish neighborhood and every so often would hear gunshots outside, but never saw something like that. One of those things that it's probably better that you can't remember it. The weirdish thing is that I live in a pretty nice, quiet neighborhood (for NYC), so I don't know if this guy was shot, hit by a car, hit by something/someone else, collapsed for some other reason. Very strange not to know what happened to him.
I forgot you wrote that. You bastard. I still get all twicthed out about that, oy.
Eek, sorry I brought it up :) If it makes you feel better, I get twitched out by it to (which almost never happens when I write something) - even more so after reading this post.
