I really DO like all the missing with the shotguns. Because, really, there's no rifling in a shotgun barrel, which is why they have scattershot, because accuracy and them don't even live on the same continent.

When Sam killed the kid, I thought of Dean mercy-killing the werewolf in 'Heart' because Sam couldn't do it.
I also liked that Sam was the one who said headshots put them down (because he had to do it once already! And saw that it worked.) Besides, it's not precisely reanimation - after all, Bobby cremated his wife and yet there she was ...
I thought it was the sherriff from The Benders too! But mostly I was glad to have a strong character that was female that didn't die.

Speaking of the sherriff, did anyone ever watch Harper's Island? Because the sherriff's name was Sherriff Mills, and in Harper's Island Jim Beaver (Bobby) played a guy named Sherriff Mills...just saying.
