I know I'm all quiet about my love for this show but I just finished tonight's finale and need to say something.

BKJVFSD;LDZ OH MY GOD HE WAS GONNA NK;EFSD HE TURNED AROUND! HMOG HE TURNED AROUND AND WAS WALKING BACK TO PETER (AND EL) AND WAS GONNA LEAVE KATE AND THEN VBIJWA:s HMOG WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK?

So. When does White Collar come back again?

I didn't see the finale until this morning and I'm still processing it. Some elements were AWESOME (Diana! Art-thief Neal in action! Clever agent Peter in action!), others ...I'm not sure about. (I am immensely leary of Massive Secret Government Conspiracies unless they are the entire POINT of the story. [i.e. Bourne Identity, Burn Notice,)

My personal interpretation on the ending is that he was at an absolute stalemate. He had gotten to the point where he couldn't leave, just like all season he couldn't NOT look for Kate and give up everything for her.

Which is still huge and possibly more believable/in character than a definite choice of Burkes over Kate at this time. (I've never really understood his Kate obsession but it's OOC for him to completely toss that out the window)

If my interpretation is correct, then that final turning around was really Neal realizing he cannot make this choice and ASKING PETER TO TALK HIM OUT OF IT!!!!!! (which deserves some keyboard smash all of it's own)
