Unpopular Fandom Opinion Time

I Love my fandom.

I love my show, the actors, the crew, etc, but I really do love my fandom more than all that. I have met some of the best friends I have in this fandom and I know that we'll still be friends once Show is done.

I love that we are so fiercely protective of each other, even if it's a little overkill sometimes.

I love that we can spend hundreds and thousands of words going on about what the color scheme in a scene means cinamatography-wise and go on and on about the different types of religion and what "destiny" and "fate" mean and what the difference between the two is.

I love that, because of this fandom, when I'm having a bad day and want to cry I have people I can call or email, and I love that I am that person for some people.

I love our fics and our art and our icons. I loe our vids and our meta and I love that I can watch the show and know the lines everyone on my FList will be flailing about.

I love that even with the stalkers and the crazies and the scary-level tinhats I still love this fandom so much that I spent an hour writing this post up on a half-working BlackBerry.
