Eek. Hope all goes well in surgery. Very similar to the surgery I had at end of March - massive ovarian cyst, only mine turned out to be on the Fallopian tube. It was ~30 cm, but contained 7L of fluid which comes out to about 15 pounds, so your 4-5 seemed off to me. Though seeing your story, I'm rather glad my was asymptomatic (I didn't know I had it until I had indigestion from it compressing my stomach and irritating the lining)! Get well quick!

Chest to pelvis? Eek! I had a c-section type incision at my bikini line, where they drained and then pulled out the cyst. I can't imagine the recovery from being cut vertically. Get well quick! Sending you healing vibes.
