Work SUCKED

Not only were about three quarters of my calls to schools and government agencies (Did I mention that me and the guy next to me, Jake, both managed to call 911 on Friday?) but I fell asleep on the phones today.

TWICE.

Next time you guys get a call with about twenty seconds of dead air you should yell into the phone, that way you can wake up the bored telemarketer on the other end of the line.

lol is that what the dead air is about? I think I usually assume it's a wrong number but someone too shy to say so and hang up.

Dead air is usually one of three things;

1) The telemarketer forgot to unmute their dialer and is already halfway through their pitch;

2) They're waiting for your information to pop up so they know who to ask for, and;

3) They're so damn bored they've fallen asleep.

The Internet at my apartment is too sketchy to stay on MSN for more than a few minutes. You know, cause I'm stealing it from my neighbors. :P But I'm gonna try to get down to the library tomorrow afternoon, if I manage to wake up before noon. (I can't help it, I work nights.)
