You know how you'll get your windows in just the right order on your taskbar (Firefox, folder, Word, MSN) and then something will happen to throw it off? Like Firefox crashing and then, of course, popping up on the far right so you have to close everything out and reopen it again just to get it back the way you like it?

Taskbar Shuffle.

It's free, small, has no spyware or anything and it lets you drag the windows around in your taskbar. This will make random crashes SO MUCH easier.

ME TOO! I'm so OCD I can't stand if they're out of order, I really do have to close all my stuff and start again new.

And the same with waterofthemoon, who I chat with constantly. We only just found this tonight because we were trying to figure out why unperfectwolf could move her stuff and I couldn't (despite us both being stuck on Vista).

Turns out she's had this all along and didn't know. :P

Actually, all I have installed are colorful tabs. The click and drag of tabs comes automatic with the ad-on.

Because, yes, I am another one of those randomly OCD people who have to have the tabs just. so. (frankly, one of my biggest frustrations with popups is because they tended mess up the order and placement of my windows.)

The one nice thing about Vista (okay, so there is a second one and that is nested menus) is that it auto-groups like things. ALOS, this will do that for you automatically (its one of the settings) so look for that too :)
