Supernatural - 0219 - Folsom Prison Blues

MOG IT'S ON!

PREVIOUSLIES! I LOVE YOU! Seriously, I missed them.

Green River County Detention Center.

Lookit, breath! The ghosts are angry!

Oh yeah, that's totally the exact time that ghost died.

Uh-oh, angry again.

The ghost was totally locked up in that cell.

Arkansas Museum of Anthropology. Three Months Later.

You bastards. YOU BASTARDS! YOU'RE FUCKING UP MY BIG BANG!

This is the most lameass fake robery ever. And Michael Scofield walked into a bank during lunch.

"I call this one the blue steel." *Strikes pose*

Hendrickson/Heinrickson and his partner Reed/Reid.

Three counts of first degree murder? Which ones?

Wow, that "Yeah, you are," was a total Sam face she made.

Five states want to extradite them. Missouri and Wisconsin want them baddest.

MUSIC! *LOVES*

"Don't worry Sam, I promise I won't trade you for smokes."

Ha! Sam's FACE when his cellie stood up!

"He keeps staring at me in a way that makes me... really uneasy."

"What, are you from Texas all of a sudden?" XD

Dean is loyal like a great big doggie.

Dude. I've had prison chicken. Dean has a fucking IRON stomach.

Uh-oh. Sam's dead now.

Aw! Dean's standing up for his bitch brotherlover!

"Are you talking to me? Are you talking to me?" Don't say it, Dean!

Uh-oh. You pissed off the Aryan Brotherhood.

YEAH! FIGHT! We never get to see them fist-fight.

Solitary? Oh geeze.

DUDE! THAT WAS FUCKING COOL LOOKING! THAT WAS FUCKING BADASS!

Commercial.

I want to see 28 Weeks Later. But I don't think they're gonna use steady handhelds like in the first one and that was a huge part of the appeal of 28 Days Later for me.

Also? My Big Bang is SO VERY COMPLETELY AU NOW THAT I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN. OH MY FUCKING GOD, DUDE.

Seriously, wait till it comes out. It makes me sick now.

Back on.

I love Hendrickson taking over the police's office. Very true to the FBI.

I like their lawyer saying things don't make sense because as a lawyer she WOULD be doing that.

And I love that Hendrickson doesn't believe it for a second because according to the presumed profiles of the Winchesters he shouldn't.

Mark Moody is the name of the ghost. Ooh, and he got beat to death by guards. Oh, and they painted the walls in his blood. Nice.

Oh God Dean, don't cheat here.

Dude. They would've killed him right there if they found him cheating.

God, I am fucking entranced by their arms in the jumpsuits.

God, Dean would've been chumped-off in about a minute in there.

Heh, Dean got beat up.

...That shouldn't've been as hot as it was, when that one guard slammed Dean.

And... Wow. What Sam did, and how he did it? That's actually really damned possible. Nice.

I love the heart-to-heart with Tiny.

Dude! That's totally a Nurse Ratched! Uh-oh, they're in trouble.

NO! NOT HIS HEART! NOT AGAIN, DAMMIT!

Commercial.

There's this game I play sometimes called "the highly ironic death of ______."

The highly ironic death of Dean Winchester is as follows: After a lifetime of hunting demons and getting shot, stabbed, beat, electrocuted and heart-touched and all manner of other things he dies of a heart-attack when Sammy comes out an tells him he really is straight.

Back on.

God. Dean is so fucking hot with a fucked-up eye.

Yep. Glockner was a Nightengale serial killer.

"Dean, doesn't it bother you at all how easily you fit in here?" "No, not at all."

Dude. Dean sounds kinda like a necrophiliac while talking with the lawyer.

Dean really can work the charm when he needs to. It doesn't always work but he can do it.

Yeah, cause Sam's gonna leave you in prison. Retard.

Heh. He called Sam "sweetheart."

That guard killed her or som--

Never mind.

I totally should've fucking called that.

Aw, Dean's little smile when Deacon said "your Daddy raised you right."

Man, I am in love with Deacon now. And I love Dean slugging him. He had to, so it would look real, but you know he enjoyed that shit.

Commercial.

Dude. I am so Jossed I'm kinda sick right now. Seriously.

Also? Deacon knew John in the corps and saved his life. And knew about ghosts and other stuff enough to call Sam an Dean. That's just way cool.

Who played Deacon? He looks familiar to me.

Back on.

Ha-ha! His girl!

AND SAM'S STILL NOT DRIVING!

Don't tell! Man, if the lawyer tells--

Yay Sam! He really does have legal knowledge!

I love that they changed right away, they would have to not to stand out.

Oh no! Don't kill Deacon! (Yuss: You knew he was dying.)

Commercial.

MOG SUPERNATURAL ORIGINS!

Yussie: It should'a been Neil Gaiman.

God, can you imagine that? I would eat people to get a Supernatural comic penned by Gaiman.

Back on.

You know they're not in the right cemetery. The FBI.

I fucking love the music on this show!

Rooster by Alice in Chains, the song at the end of this ep? Is a song Layne Stanley, the singer, wrote about his father, a Marine in Vietnam. His father's nickname was "Rooster."

Lyrics.

The mood was chosen before the ep came on.

Okay. This show got so much right when it came to the prison stuff that I'm kind of sad. It got more right than a show completely based in and around the idea of a prison.

Man, Kripke. I am impressed with your technical research.

I kept staring at the arms in the jumpsuits.

I likes this ep.

God, their arms were fucking magnificent, weren't they?

Mmmm...

1. The ep was ALL KINDS of awesome.

2. I'm still in awe of the fact that they used THAT SONG at the end of the ep.

God, first we get Renegade for Nightshifter and then they pair it up with Rooster here. I am in LOVE.

And? It's true. Everything comes back to Papa Winchester.

[identity profile] tuesdaysgone.livejournal.com 2007-04-27 06:27 pm (UTC)(link)
It DOES. It all comes back around to him. (I wish it would REALLY come back to him. I've been in denial since IMTOD...I want JDM back.)

The first thing I yelled when I saw the promo was, "I READ THAT FIC!"

I'm actually a little scared now because I'm all a-feared of next week and I'm not really sure why.

Re: SPOILERS FOR THE 0220 PROMO

[identity profile] tuesdaysgone.livejournal.com 2007-04-27 07:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Haha, I read that fic too. It was a good fic, hopefully Kripke et al can do as well ;-)

The tattooed creature with the glowing blue fingers freaked me the heck out, I don't know about you.

Dude, the Djinn was fucking COOL looking!

I think part of my problem may be that I've read this fic before, several times, and they're usually pretty amazing. And I'm afraid of the episode not living up to the fanfic.

I'm having PB flashbacks so bad!

MOG, I know, huh? I love that it took them forty-five minutes to do what it took Michael an entire season to accomplish.

As soon as that air freshner/motion detector went off, I went "Oh, god, Dean's brilliant plan is to pull a Michael Scofield". Only, somehow, their plan worked so much better.

But the way they filmed it--with the shots of the different groups of inmates doing inmatey things--made me think they were actively mocking Prison Break.

Which is totally cool. Because it needs to be mocked. Especially since it now sucks ass.

Sorry. Still a sore subject.

I was just talking to [livejournal.com profile] moonmelody about this today; how I was totally waiting for them to actively shout it out.
