The second bit is The Inn and the family. Sammich and Dean are there for an unrelated reason and just happen to be staying at the hotel. No clue the ages, no clue if John's in another room or anything. Sammich and Dean are sharing a room that, by dumb luck, belong to two of the kids.

That's about all I got for it I think. Aside from the part where The Family is stuck in an unbreaking loop.

I think we should start with a mini-summary. What do you want to happen? Do you want to Sammich to almost die again? Do we poke Dean again? What emotion do we want to deal with?

How about if we try the family angle. We could put this time as the time when Sammy's getting ready to go to college and abandon his family behind.

See my problem though is that I'm one of those people who firmly think Sammich didn't tell either of them until he was pretty much out the door. So Dean could notice Sammy's acting weird but he'd have no idea why.

Hmm. What emotion? I'm thinking Sam and Dean are together now, Sammy is emoing and panicking because he knows its not normal and Dean feels like a monster and a pedophile because it's his baby brother. So there a lot of stress and self-loathing and jumpyness.

Hm. I don't think it would do either really. They're all they know really. I think that maybe they're synched up enough, they know each other well enough that they take turns freaking out. One night Sammich'll be freaking out and Dean'll sit next to him and just talk on about nothing until he gets Sammy's mind off of it. The next night Dean'll be emoing and Sam'll crawl up next to him and lay down.

If I can figure out exatly what the family is looping and when this'll be easier. I know Ma kills them all once a day and one of the kids plays pinball but aside from that I don't know. Any ideas?

He runs back, only to find the mother trying to push one of his sisters off the balcony. He tries to stop his mother and ends up pushing both him, the mother and the sister.

The youngest sister is the only one who survives since according to the legend, there is only one survivor.

I dont know what to do with the father. But at least, you can have this to work with.

Sammy spent the first eighteen years of his life covered in different runes and pictures and words and things because of Dean.

The only problem with that haunting is that it's relatively mundane in compairison to some of the others they've faced. And it almost seems like an accident. Maybe something like one of the children hiding in the bathtub every night and crying or something like that.

Bathtub haunting is probably creepy. So one of the kids hide there? But if he hid in there, that means he survived? Or maybe he hid in there and was killed nonetheless?

What happens to the rest of the family? Maybe the mother should do a swandive. EEEEEEE!!!! You have to go online later! I have an idea!

In the original haunting Mom threw the kids over and then jumped herself. Theoretically one of the kids could have survived the fall.

I'm thinking that with the bathtub one of the tried to hide in it but Mom found them and dragged 'em to their death.

I'm online right now. What I was going to suggest (this is a long shot) is that instead of people seeing a certain mother throwing out her children through the window, they see their own mother throwing out their brothers or sisters.

So, Dean would see Mary throwing wee!Sammy and wee!Dean out the window. Maybe, only the people whose mothers have suffered a violent death can see these apparitions or whatever.

It's quite gory really and is meant to poke the woobie Dean but dammit, it's like an addiction with me. I CAN'T STOP POKING DEAN.

OT, I was linking mik's "3rd Date, 3rd Base" and looking for the link. There I noticed that there are tons of mik's entries that I can see (so they aren't locked or anything), but that don't show up on my friendslist. (and I would know, I always read all of my friendslist)

That seems to be happening quite a bit lately. Like there was a metafandom post that I saw. Next time I reload my flist it's gone. I could still see it because I had commented to it and received a reply and could access it directly from that, but it just refused to show up on my friendslist. Odd.

I liked it a lot. The end unintentionally made me laugh a bit because it reminded me of halfshell's "If the Wincest Fangirls Ran Supernatural" post, about how there would be mouth to mouth resuscitation in every episode.

I liked it better than the 5 powers fic I just thought that it flowed really, really well. I like 5 Powers too, but there is something odd about the flow of that one. Something I can't really put my finger on. Maybe it was just a "time 'o day" kind of thing.

But yeah, they should totally open a "Dean Torture Anonymous" (analog to Mulder Torture Anonymous) and rate fics on the different levels of Dean torture :D

Makes me wonder whether as a rule of thumb, people prefer their fics that they they wrote on a long time or the spontaneous ones that came out really quick.

It's no problem, I know what you mean. Five Powers was started a few months ago and very start-stop, start-stop and it shows. Still Water only took about a week or so and the biggest problem was starting it.

Yeah, I think it's a shame how that whole thing was/is being done. Most people have completely given up on it and the fics are posted so few and far between that it's insane.

It's ok. It's not one I'm particular proud of anyway. Just something that has been on my mind and on my hard drive a long time. I just wanted to find out if it is at only halfway readable.

There are still huge chunks of fic missing in the middle.
