It's weird that they didn't seem to allow any non-vox member commenting. Ah well, just means that I don't have to exactly rush to get myself a membership.
Is it weird that my first reaction when you posted about your mom was
(1) OMG, how cool (me, love having nephews/nieces; then again, it's probably easier for me, since I don't live in the same house; so I don't have to hear them cry at night; then again; you usually never sleep anyway ;D)
(2) Make sure to not get your hopes up too much. Might just be because my sis in law lost her first attempt at a baby (she wasn't even 30 yet) and it was like really traumatic for her. No particular reason too. I'm guessing these things are even worse if the mother is older. So having a "If it's there, it's good, if not, it's ok as well" attitude toward it strikes me as healthy.
