Oh my god this episode has killed me dead.


I loved how we got to see what everyone was doing right before they got on the plane. It really knocks home how much everyone has changed since then. Also? James Ford. Oh yes.

I'm not usually one for Het but with this show I'll make an exception. Because between Jin/Sun and Charlie/Claire I'm just feeling massive amounts of love here. I loved when Sun gave Jin the book with the foneetick inglish, it was so sweet!

Also loved the little bits here and there. Like the fact that Sayid asked Shannon to watch his stuff, and then she told the guards that "Some Arab left his bags downstairs." Damn but she's changed.

In related news after hearing about Kelsey Grammer being cast as Best in X-Men 3 me, youkos_vixen, kygn, and James were talking about who we would cast for what characters and I mentioned the whole Josh Holloway = Gambit thing, complete with pictures for youkos_vixen, and she was kinda getting it. Then the scene came on with Sawyer chopping the bamboo and she said she was convinced. Oh yeah.

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the fact that Sawyer told Jack about his dad. That was incredibly beautiful. JH and MF really acted nicely there.

Still no Kate love. Loved all that shirtless Sawyer though. Yummy.

This episode rocked so hard. Scared of next week's ep but still waiting on the edge of my seat.

No pictures of anyone in costume yet unfortunetly (Though I will be spamming the hell out of everyone when we get some) but I was showing her some pictures of JH and why him as Gambit is going to rock. This, this, and this is Josh Holloway. And this is something a fan made this a while back on why she thought he was perfect for Gambit, and thus the fan-movement began. Much like Christian Bale's fan-movement as Bats.

This is going to be Juggernaut and I'm actually kinda liking it. I mean he was one hell of a footballer.

Unfortunetly Maggie Grace is who they're thinking of for Kitty Pride. Pardon the pun but oy vey.

A Cajun patois is difficult to mimic. Trust me. I had to do it for improv theatre and it's fucking hard to make genuine. It took a great deal of research.

Yeah, I've had the bad misfortune to hear it butchered many a time. I also had to sit through my friend James telling me that if he were skinnier he'd be a perfect Gambit. God-damn he did possibly the worst accent I've ever heard.

I'm probably thinking wrong but I just figure it might be a tad easier for him than say Matt Damon or something.

Eugh. Matt Damon as Gambit would make my existence hurt.

This guy looks physically capable of the part, but really all it needs is someone who can wear a five-o-clock shadow well, has a narrow face, hair that plays well with others and can mimic a Cajun accent.

Oh, and, equally tall to Cyclops, of course.

Staff-fighting experience preferred.

Unfortunetly for a while Damon!Gambit was a rumor. Shudder.

He is the same height as James Marsden, though I don't know whether or not he can fight with staff I know he can wrestle pretty good and he's got a mean swing with an axe...
