My leg hurts. I have no idea what I did to it, it's been like this for a week, and for the first four hours I was awake yesterday I couldn't move it without immense pain and popping sounds.

I have an appointment for my doctor on Wednesday and I can basically call it now: I will sit there for two hours, he will literally LOOK at my knee, write me a perscription for something my insurance doesn't cover, and then hand me off to his insanely rude nurse to write me a referral somewhere—all for the low, low price of just a half-tank of gas.

Uh, wow. I'd really fight that sort of treatment. As in - if that's what he does, have a total breakdown in his office and force him to actually *do* something. Like - his job. I mean - seriously. You'd be surprised how far hysterical screaming can get you.

That, or start that fun whirly-gig of new-doctor-search.
