Well the whole shirts and boxes thing. I feel like I was missing something about that - why did she have all these boxes of shirts? And boxes of shirts that belonged to other guys as well, and ones she bought for Sam? Why did she have all these shirts with phrases on them?

Another story! But you get a mini-preview. Jess has this roommate she's known since forever. He spoils her rotten by not changing his credit cards after everytime she gets drunk/bored and goes on a mini shopping spree.

These shirts are the result of one of those. She got bored, got online, found her way to T-Shirt Hell and tried to max out his card with shirts for pretty much everyone she knew.
