I dod not know that about Alias.

I have a feeling that I'm the only Alias fan who ever had a problem with the Rimbaldi storyline (Rimbaldi was the ancient prophet guy who wrote the prophesy about Sydney and who all the characters became inexplicably obsessed with), so I doubt it's a common complaint, but I really hated how the show went from being action, spy stuff to sci-fi. It definitely was not what killed the show for me, but I've always been unhappy with that plot.

Suddenly Dad isn't a bad guy and he probably left to save his wife and kids who he loved/loves

Totally. Total cop-out. I hate the idea that Michael and Lincoln's lives have been leading up to this moment, that none of this is random and just something that happened. I think it also takes away a lot of the responsibility from Lincoln who, while innocent, certainly got himself into this situation by getting himself into debt and never telling Michael about it, agreeing to take the hit to get out of debt, etc. Not that I want Linc to be a cold-blooded murderer, but I much prefer all these characters as imperfect, sometimes selfish, not always smart, not always completely innocent. Making this conspiracy all about SpyDaddy, to me, takes away a lot of Linc as an "everyman," regular guy who got himself into trouble and got caught up in this thing by random accident.

I think you're right with Boondock Saints, I think that revelation really worked within the context of the movie and the whole "chosen by God to carry out this mission" concept.

And he ain't smart enough to think of an excuse like Sucre did.

It's funny, because C-Note has been shown to have booksmarts similar to Michael, but not all that good at thinking quickly (spitting out that he's being sent back to Iraq rather than confessing about prison to his wife seemed like a very sudden idea, and not a good one at all). Sucre, on the other hand, may not have the booksmarts of the other two, but is very clever and can spin plans and ideas quickly, which I love - love that he's not just Michael's dumb sidekick, that he's actually fairly intelligent in his own right and can handle himself without Michael around.

but my only problem is figuring out where it would happen.

Yeah, for some reason in my head they're in the infirmery (possibly the M/S shipper in me who wants Sara to be around and see some of the brother interaction), but I have no idea why Linc would be there, as Sara would probably go to his cell if she needs to check him out for something, so there'd be no need to take him out of his cell. Would Linc still be able to go to church/mass/whatever it is now that he's in solitary? That's the only place I could see them logically interacting.
