There are dif. kinds of Gen, ya know? The fluffy, happy, read for a rainy/sad/whatever day.

Then there's the thought provoking, makes you 'Woa. Thats a nifty idea/way of looking at that peson/idea/whatever. The kind that shape fanon. (think Chess, or Overwhelmed)

There are other Gen types, I just can't think of them.
